Founded in Alexandria, Virginia in 2019, Swamp Trout Baits started as an idea between two buddies fishing the creeks off the Potomac River. What began as a passion for chasing fish and building better baits quickly evolved into a brand focused on handcrafted custom lures built for serious anglers.

At Swamp Trout Baits, every bait is designed with attention to detail, durability, and fish-catching performance. From glide baits and crankbaits to topwater walkers, paddletail swimbaits, and trailer baits, our goal is to create lures that not only look right, but fish right.

We also offer custom open-pour silicone molds and handmade resin blanks for fellow bait makers looking to build and customize their own creations.
